Wouda joins TTC as Field Sales Director

The sales ace most recently spent six years at Globus family of brands.

THE Travel Corporation (TTC) has appointed Mel Wouda as Field Sales Director for its touring brands, travelBulletin can exclusively reveal.

The former Globus National Account Manager will oversee sales activity across TTC’s Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Costsaver, and Contiki brands, across all state except Queensland and South Australia.

She will lead the seven-strong sales manager team, working closely with travel partners to deliver enhanced face-to-face support and engagement.

“Melinda’s expertise and leadership will be a tremendous asset,” Senior Vice President Sales Andy Young said.

“Her industry knowledge and commitment to building strong partnerships will be key in driving growth across our suite of brands.”

Wouda’s appointment is part of the soon-to-be-announced expansion of the TTC tour brands trade sales team, which will be led by Young.

This investment reflects the company’s commitment to boosting brand presence, deepening industry relationships, and strengthening sales capability in the market, TTC said.
