Flight Centre Travel Group’s destination management brand Discova has made three key appointments to help steer its future growth strategy.
Previously the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Rhydian James has been elevated to Chief Commercial Officer, where he will focus on partner growth initiatives, managing partner experiences and scouting new business opportunities.
James has been with the company since 2018 and is considered instrumental in the company’s current growth and development.
Meanwhile, Discova also has a new Vice President of Sales for North America and Australia/New Zealand in Nick Shuttleworth, where he is charged with leading the sales and account management operations.
With an in-depth understanding of the American and Australian markets through his previous role of America Business Development Leader, Shuttleworth will be a safe pair of hands to deliver on key local expansion goals.
Also joining the Discova family is Karla Wilson, who has been made Account Manager APAC.
She will play an important role using her extensive industry experience, most recently as the interstate move specialist at Muval, to support the travel agent partners and spearhead business growth within the Australia and New Zealand market.
James and Wilson are based in FCTG’s headquarter offices in Brisbane, while Shuttleworth is based in the Melbourne office.
