WEBJET is now offering an additional flexible payment option to its customers, thanks to a new partnership with buy now, pay later company Zip.
The deal allows travellers to make their bookings and pay for them in interest-free instalments over a period of time, giving them more flexibility when purchasing domestic and international flights, accommodation, travel insurance, car hire and more.
“Webjet provides customers with an unmatched world of choice, and the addition of Zip is yet another way Webjet is empowering customers to book their travel in a manner that best suits their lifestyle,” the OTA’s CEO, David Galt, enthused.
Zip Pay is now available to use on Webjet for smaller purchases of up to $1,000 interest free, however, there is a $7.95 monthly account fee attached to plans, with repayments to be made via a minimum $10 a week scheme.
Customers who are making bigger purchases of up to $10,000 can use Zip Money and enjoy 12 months interest free, with charges shifting to a 25.9% per annum rate after the interest-free period ends. Zip Money also charges a $7.95 monthly account fee.
“Webjet is also a one stop shop for all your travel needs – from flights and accommodation through to travel insurance and car hire – so this partnership well and truly solidifies Zip’s presence in the travel vertical, as we continue to give customers more choice for how they pay for their next travel adventure,” Cynthia Scott, CEO of Zip ANZ, explained.
