TravelManager PTMs outperform

An increasing number of TravelManagers members are on track to join the "million dollar club" with the company recording several months of consecutive sales expansion.

TRAVELMANAGERS Australia has revealed that a growing number of its personal travel managers (PTMs) are now out-performing their pre-pandemic sales.

Over the six months from July to December 2022, the company’s PTMs have recorded an average sales increase of 52% compared with the same six-month period in 2019.

The achievement comes after multiple record sales months for the brand last year, with Dec seeing an average sales increase per PTM of 86% compared with pre-COVID sales in Dec 2019.

“These results tell a fantastic story on their own, but an even better one when you realise that the Dec figures are part of a longer-running growth trend,” TravelManagers’ Finance & Commercial Manager, Tanyu Cilek, said.

“The number of advisors on track for at least $1 million in sales this financial year has tripled since 2019, while those on track for $1.5 million-plus has doubled.”

Noting sales growth in every segment, including air (up 64%), insurance (up 44%) and land (up 46%), Citek believes the results reflect an increase in the perceived value of the travel agent.

“We are delighted to be entering 2023 in such a strong position and look forward to seeing our PTMs reap the rewards of so much hard work and dedication over the past three years,” he concluded.
