Travellers Choice chooses Paul Millan to drive network growth

The industry stalwart will use his extensive experience and unique skillset to attract successful independent travel agencies, Janie Medbury writes.

TRAVELLERS Choice has appointed Paul Millan to the newly created role of Network Development Manager, where he will draw on his 35 years of travel industry experience to lead the group’s national network expansion.

Millan, who is based in Sydney, is well-known to the industry through former roles with Tour Amigo, Amadeus, Travelscene and Traveltek, where he held the title of Global Director of Sales.

“Paul has extensive industry experience and a proven record in delivering solutions for travel businesses,” Managing Director Christian Hunter commented.

“He will ensure that Australian travel agents truly understand the commercial advantages Travellers Choice shareholders enjoy in terms of unrivalled sales, marketing and business support, as well as the cultural dividends that flow from being part of a group that enjoys a 100% satisfaction rating by its members.”

“The addition of a dedicated resource focused on network expansion will enable our team of national business development managers to provide even more support to our member shareholders,” he added.

The announcement follows the roll-out of Traveller Choice’s first national member recruitment campaign, Choose Day, which encourages independent travel agency owners to learn more about the group and the benefits it offers.
