TRAVEL at 60 is set to grow, with Seven West Media now its major shareholder, in a capital raise which has also seen many of the main faces at the company change.
The business will focus on deepening its relationship with the affluent baby boomer market in the media and travel categories through unique content, curated news, and exclusive member deals.
Travel at 60 will continue its work to be the travel destination of choice for the over-60 demographic, helping them plan and book holidays.
Some of the main changes have seen Adam Jones installed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Starts at 60 group, replacing the outgoing Rebecca Wilson, while Wendy Harch is the new Chief Executive Officer of the Travel at 60 arm.
“I’d like to thank Rebecca for the work she’s done leading the brand over the years and building such a wonderful platform for Australian over 60’s,” said Jones.
“I wish her every success and am very excited to be leading the business through its next phase of growth.”
Sam Harris has also joined as the Chief Financial Officer of both Starts at 60 and Travel at 60.
The takeover sees Seven refocus on the travel sector, after the shutdown of 7travel almost three years ago.
