Led by FCTG veteran Ben Monaghan, the business will trade as Monaghan & Turner Travel Associates and signals the brand’s expansion beyond the traditional bricks-and-mortar model.
“Bricks-and-mortar will always be at the core of the Travel Associates business model, but we acknowledge that we have a changing market to cater for in both the new luxury traveller and the new luxury advisor,” TA GM Australia and New Zealand Rachel Kingswell said.
“The next-generation luxury client is more digitally literate and likes the option to reach their advisor through modern channels like social media and direct message. They’re also more likely to be working during the week, so this team will be more available after hours.
“In the same way, there’s a growing number of advisors that value flexibility, and this new team led by Ben will allow them to work at flexible schedules aligned to client demand, from wherever they please, which we believe will really enhance both the advisor and client experience,” she added.
Reflecting on his appointment, Monaghan (pictured with FCTG CEO Graham Turner) said: “After building a strong and loyal client base over the past 20 years, joining Travel Associates feels like the perfect alignment in the next progression of my career.”
“This move allows me to further elevate the level of care and sophistication my clients receive, while also being part of something exciting as I lead and grow this new business model under the Travel Associates brand.”
