SkyBuys app arrives in New Zealand

TRAVELLERS can now access duty-free shopping at New Zealand airports through SkyBuys, which offers offers international passengers access to duty-free and travel retail inventory from multiple retailers in a single app.

SkyBuys has expanded its offering to travellers in the APAC region, with the addition of tax-free goods at Auckland, Christchurch, and Queenstown airports, allowing consumers to purchase products from a variety of well-known brands via the SkyBuys app before travelling or at anytime during their journey.

The app offers click and collect and contactless collection at international airport retail stores, as well as exclusive offers, rewards and specials on popular brands.

Lagardere AWPL, which recently extended its Aelia duty-free contract with Auckland Airport, said it looked forward to working with SkyBuys across its network in Australia and New Zealand.
