Singapore Airlines gets behind the NTIAs

This year will see the carrier continue to support the Australian travel sector as the major sponsor of the 2025 National Travel Industry Awards, JANIE MEDBURY writes.

SINGAPORE Airlines will once again throw its weight behind the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) event, which takes place on 18 October at The Star, Brisbane.

The carrier has been backing the NTIAs, which recognises and celebrates high-performing travel businesses and individuals, since 2022.

“Singapore Airlines is proud to once again lead the celebration of our nation’s outstanding travel professionals as the major sponsor of the 2025 NTIA celebrations,” said Singapore Airlines General Manager Agency Sales, Greg McJarrow.

“These awards shine a light on the businesses and individuals who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and experiences for Australian travellers.

“As a long-standing partner to the industry, we’re delighted to play a part in honouring the achievements of its people and supporting a vibrant, resilient travel sector.”

ATIA CEO Dean Long shared McJarrow’s sentiment, saying: “We are thrilled to welcome Singapore Airlines back as the NTIA 2025 Major Sponsor.”

“The airline’s continued support is a sign of significant commitment to our industry and to the people who power it.”

“NTIA is all about celebrating excellence and building our collective future – and we couldn’t ask for a more dedicated partner than Singapore Airlines to help bring that vision to life,” Long added.

The gala event takes place the night after ATIA’s Beyond Borders Travel Summit, which is scheduled for 17 October.
