Supported by Qantas and the Palau Visitors Authority, the tropical getaway will take place 24 Sep to 04 Oct, including four nights at Palau Sunrise Seaview Landison Retreat and four nights at Palau Pacific Resort.
“The Sanctuary is all about Palau time – time away from the everyday, time in nature, time in the water, and time to experience a destination that feels a world apart,” said Kellie Smith, Room-Res’ global head of supply and industry partnerships.
“We wanted to create something that gives agents more than one way to be part of it, while also giving them a strong reason to focus on Palau during the campaign period. It’s a very special place, and this is a very special time to have it on the radar.”
Running from now until 21 June, ‘The Sanctuary: Palau’ incentive is offering agents three ways to win.
One spot will be awarded to the Palau Booking Champion – the agent with the highest TTV booked to Palau during the campaign period.
Another place will be given to the Palau Content Champion, who helps the destination get in front of clients through quote activity and social sharing.
The remaining five spots will be then awarded through the Room-Res Booking Champion draw, with one entry earned for every 20 confirmed and paid bookings (anywhere) made during the campaign.
In addition, Room-Res is offering further rewards throughout the campaign.
Any agent who books any Palau properties will jump to Platinum Tier, while any agent who reaches 20 confirmed and paid bookings during the campaign will earn $50 in Room-Res Rewards.
Next month, Room-Res and Travel Daily will be hosting an event on sustainable tourism in Sydney to launch the campaign, featuring speakers such as Laura Clarke, Palau Pledge co-founder and honorary consul general for Republic of Palau to Australia, and Onorina Fugawai, tourism manager from Pacific Trade Invest.
