Railbookers Group has unveiled expanded rail and sail itineraries along with a fresh selection of trips, now open for booking for travel dates through to early 2028.
Headlining the launch is the Norway Coastal Cruises collection, which combines sea voyages aboard the Hurtigruten line of ships with rail journeys, hotel stays and sightseeing through Norwegian cities and villages.
The collection initially features five itineraries that span 10-17 days, including multiple nights cruising the Norwegian coastline – find out more here.
Additionally, Railbookers has teamed up with sister brand Amtrak Vacations to launch Beyond the Match, a series of 14 itineraries that allow soccer fans to explore the US and Canada during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Ranging between five and nine days, the trips all begin and end in match host destinations to give travellers the opportunity to explore the cities, national parks, and scenery across the continent by rail.
Those on the West Coast can join ‘Mountains, Arches, and Canyons by Rail’, which travels from San Francisco to Arches, Canyonlands and Rocky Mountain National Parks on the California Zephyr, and ‘Southwest Escape’, a roundtrip from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon and Sedona.
There are also East Coast-based trips on offer, including the ‘Southern Coastal Explorer’ (Miami-St. Augustine-Savannah-Charleston) as well as the ‘Northeast Rail Journey’ (Boston-New York City-Philadelphia-Washington DC).
For those attending matches in the middle of the country, Amtrak Vacations has created ‘Rails to the Bayou and Texas’ (Atlanta-New Orleans-San Antonio) and ‘Heartland Rail Journey’ (Kansas City-St. Louis-Chicago). See the entire Beyond the Match collection here.
Railbookers has also launched the Italy Uncovered series, which highlights some of the country’s hidden gems and features overnight hotel stays in destinations like Lucca, Siena and Taormina.
Travellers will also discover a new collection called Iconic Italy, which spotlights the most in-demand cities, attractions and destinations in one product collection with more than two dozen trips, including eight new itineraries.
In response to high demand from agents, Railbookers has also added a selection of more than a dozen customisable trips that pair Italy and Switzerland.
“As we are coming out of our most successful year in company history, Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations are excited to introduce our newest itineraries to add to our industry-leading collection of rail holidays,” said Railbookers Group president and CEO Frank Marini.
“From discovering the best of Norway by land and sea, capitalizing on the incredible influx of passionate sports fans coming to the US and Canada this summer by exploring beyond the host cities, to providing new and exciting experiences in our top-selling and most popular destinations, we are proud to unveil these new trips.”
