Qantas Business Rewards platform set to expand

The airline is adding a range of new drawcards to its flagship business program.

QANTAS Business Rewards has expanded its travel management capabilities, including offering members the ability to book flights, hotels, and car hire directly through the platform for the first time.

The expansion of the platform into travel management will enable businesses and their employees to book and manage their entire work trip for no additional cost.

Members will now be able to set up business travel policies and apply these to bookings, for better efficiency, and to give travel managers greater visibility of booking behaviour.

They will also have access to detailed data reporting and analytics in real time, in response to feedback from members about their travel needs.

The new platform will be offered to a select group of businesses over the next few months as a trial, before being rolled out to all members later this year.

Qantas partnered with travel technology company Spotnana to develop and power the travel management component.

There is almost half a million members of Qantas Business Rewards, which currently benefit from discounts on flights, and the ability to earn points on everyday expenses.
