THE Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has unveiled the first lot of nominees for the 2024 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), with voting to kick off on next week.
Among the nominees is low-cost carrier Vietjet, which is up for the the ‘Most Popular Airline – Online’ gong. There are 11 categories in total, each of which feature between four and 16 nominees.
“We are excited to open the voting process for this year’s NTIAs,” ATIA Chief Executive Officer, Dean Long, enthused.
“This is an opportunity for professionals within the industry to highlight and celebrate the achievements of their peers who have demonstrated exemplary dedication and innovation. We encourage everyone to get voting.”
The 2024 NTIA nominees list features several travel brands which have recently entered the Australian market, with Titan Travel nominated in the Most Outstanding Tour Operator – Global category.
Other new market entrants up for recognition include AmaWaterways (Most Popular River Cruise Operator) and Disney Cruise Line (Most Popular Ocean Cruise Operator).
Anyone employed in the Australian travel industry can cast one vote per category for a nominee in Categories 21-31. Winners will be declared at the gala event on Saturday 26 October, which will be hosted at ICC Sydney.
“Congratulations to all our nominees in the voted NTIA categories. This is a reflection of your exceptional contribution to promoting excellence in Australian voting,” Long added.
