THE Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) has revealed this year’s National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) will take place in Melbourne on 18 November.
It marks the first time in two decades that the travel industry’s ‘night of nights’ will be held outside of Sydney.
“AFTA wants to give all Australian travel professionals the option to participate and attend and there’s no bigger and better event than NTIA so make sure you mark 18 November in your calendar right now,” AFTA CEO Dean Long commented.
“This year will see AFTA hold more events right around the country as we celebrate the return of Travel and engage with members and the sector.”
AFTA said it will soon release details of the five inaugural NTIA Custodians representing different segments of the travel industry, including Mobile/home-based network, Retail Agency, Corporate, Online, Tour Operator, Wholesaler and Cruise and Air.
