THE formal part of the 2022 National Travel Industry Awards has wrapped up tonight, with the industry honouring the support, resilience and survival of travel agencies and industry suppliers during the pandemic. The first NTIAs since 2019 saw the event return to Sydney’s International Convention Centre, with 1,200 people from across Australia celebrating together.
AFTA CEO Dean Long said it was truly a night to remember. “Events of the scale of the NTIAs 2022 celebration do not just happen..on behalf of everyone I think the hardworking AFTA team and the generous support of our sponsors for helping us realise our vision for this event”.
“Our resilient travel community is our greatest strength, and moving forward AFTA will continue our focus on harnessing the skills and expertise across our network to benefit our industry, our clients and our businesses,” Long added.
