NTIA 2022 finalists announced

The highly anticipated finalists for the 2022 National Travel Industry Awards have been announced, with voting now open until 8th September in the lead-up to the NTIA Gala Dinner in October.

The first post-pandemic opportunity to celebrate Australia’s travel industry excellence has moved to the next stage, with the naming of the finalists in the 2022 National Travel Industry Awards.

This year there are significant changes to the format of the program, aiming to recognise suppliers for their support of the industry during COVID-19, along with simplified judging and voting processes.

AFTA CEO Dean Long said “NTIA is always an exciting and well deserved recognition of the very best in our industry and this year it’s the case even more than ever. AFTA made the decision given the day to day pressures that we needed to take a slightly different approach in allowing written and video submissions. The entries have been incredibly creative with a mix of powerful and very funny entries even including a cartoon animation.”

“It has also been fantastic to see the very strong peer nominations with 90% of the Individual Finalists peer nominated,” he said.

Voting is open until 5pm AEST on 08 September in the Most Popular categories (which are fully decided by the voting) and several of the Most Outstanding Supplier categories (which are decided by a combined score mix from judges and voting).

The full list of finalists is below, with more details and the voting link online at https://ttagroup.eventsair.com/QuickEventWebsitePortal/ntia-2022-tickets/ntia-2022

The winners will be announced at the industry night of nights, the 2022 NTIA Gala Dinner taking place at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on Saturday 15th October.
