Link Travel Group expands in the west

Mt. Lawley, WA-based agency Travel & Sports Australia is the latest member of the invitation-only joint venture.

Link Travel Group has expanded its membership out west again, adding another Perth-based agency, Travel & Sports Australia (TASA).

TASA was welcomed into Link at the start of the month, and now has access to the Group’s innovative offering for travel supply, technology, and business operations.

The agency’s joint Managing Director Paul Ramsay said he and co-MD Terrel Ramsay are “humbled” to have been invited to join Link and sit alongside such respected industry colleagues.

“Our entire team were engaged in our decision to join Link, and they are all excited to now have access to Australia’s widest range of supply, future industry leading technologies, and a clear and common focus on the industry and its future,” he said.

“We all certainly feel like we are part of something very special indeed and we look forward to collaborating with all Link members, especially the very large and growing number of them out here in the west.”

Link General Manager Scott Darlow lauded the joint venture’s newest member, a business with more than 35 years’ experience in the travel industry.

“The business is a perfectly balanced blend with a strong presence in Sporting & Entertainment Travel, Corporate Travel & Leisure Travel, and it was always going to be a perfect fit for Link,” he said.

“I have personally known Paul & Terrel Ramsay, joint Managing Directors of TASA, for quite some time, and I know their personal values and business principles match up with Link’s core values and there are countless synergies that they share with Link members”.

Link was launched 18 months ago as a joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group, the Goldman Group, and Spencer Group.
