LINK Travel Group has expanded its membership with a “western double”, with two Perth-based travel agencies set to join the FCTG/Goldman Group/Spencer Group joint venture.
Independent travel agencies Martini Travel, based in Balcatta, and Travel Associates, based in Wembley, will join Link from next month, as the 12-month-old Group continues to grow from strength to strength.
“We are incredibly proud of what we have already built at Link Travel Group and the additions of both Martini Travel and Travel Associates will enhance the group even further,” Link General Manager Scott Darlow said.
“I couldn’t be happier that both (Martini Managing Director Rhett Martini) and (Travel Associates Managing Director Russell Brown) have accepted their invitations respectively to align their agencies with Link and I know both these businesses will thrive as part of our exclusive group.
“Both businesses are excellent businesses run by highly motivated, ambitious, and successful people.”
The Martini Managing Director said his travel agency is delighted to have been invited to join Link, to become part of a group of like-minded industry heavyweights.
“Having access to Australia’s widest range of supply, combined with heavy investment in future technologies will ensure Martini Travel is well placed for years to come,” he said.
Brown said it is now more important than ever for Travel Associates to align itself with the right partners.
“The Australian travel landscape is changing rapidly…we are humbled to be invited to join such an elite group of talented and successful agencies,” he said.
