HELLOWORLD Travel has welcomed back an industry leader, Kate Cameron, as Head of Agency Partnerships.
Cameron previously spent a decade with the company’s leading sales teams across the Helloworld Business Travel and Travelscene Corporate agent networks.
She is returning to the travel industry after a successful few years as the Australian Information Security Association’s Head of Partnerships.
Cameron was also previously Travel Partners’ General Manager, where she was responsible for implementing a strong business structure, driving member engagement, and increasing the growth of the network.
Her previous tenure with Helloworld saw her oversee the business transition from Travelscene to the Helloworld Travel brand for the corporate agent division.
Cameron’s 20 years of senior management experience in major travel businesses has also seen her in roles with Travelcorp and Flight Centre.
“It’s excellent to welcome Kate Cameron back to the Helloworld business, her experience and significant insights in all aspects of our sector are invaluable,” Head of Branded & Associate Networks Nick Sutherland said.
“She is a specialist in the growth of travel businesses, and has a proven track record of increasing engagement, membership and driving more efficient business processes.”
Cameron said she was always sure she would return to travel.
“It’s great to be back at Helloworld, where there are such iconic and well-established independent brands,” she said.
“I look forward to working with our agents and really feel we are best placed to support and partner with them.”
