Harmony Travel Group is bringing Australian travellers a new all-inclusive package opption to Europe in the market, pitching itself as an operator boasting an affordable price and a focus on delivering a blend of history, culture, and nature.
Three debut tours are now available to book, including its 13-day ‘Amazing Turkiye’ itinerary exploring the Cappadocia region.
The adventure kicks off in Istanbul, and offers a guided excursion to the Golden Horn’s panoramic views, The Magnificent Mosque, the aromatic Spice Bazaar, and a captivating Bosphorus cruise that showcases the city’s timeless beauty.
Further highlights include the Mausoleum of the Turkiye’s founder, the stunning terraces of Cotton Castle, he House of the Virgin Mary, as well as Bursa, the Ottoman Empire’s first capital.
Harmony also offers the ‘Grand Balkans’ adventure visiting the historic towns of Mostar and Trogid, as well as its ‘Grand Europe’ trip, taking guests to popular cities such as Venice and Paris.
Outside of its core tours, the operator also runs tailor-made tours and specialised tour such as honeymoons.
The Australian business is looking to capitalise on new Turkish Airlines services departing from Melbourne, which its itineraries all incorporate, with Sydney departures likely to be added once they are introduced.
“The launch of Turkish Airlines flights from Melbourne to Istanbul has significantly facilitated the creation and promotion of tours to Turkiye, the Balkans, and Europe,” Harmony Travel Group CEO, Steven Young, said.
“It enhances accessibility, boosts tourism, fosters strategic partnerships, and provides numerous economic and promotional benefits, and this development has made it much easier and more affordable for Australian travellers to explore these rich and diverse regions, from all under one roof with a single carrier,” he added.
Young also confirmed the Harmony brand will be investing resources in educating travel agents about its new tours.
“We are committed to enhancing the expertise of travel advisors through…fam trips, incentives, and training sessions, with specific dates to be communicated soon,” he said.
“Travel agents play a crucial role in effectively communicating Harmony’s message and its brand to travellers.
“Their expertise, reputation, sales channels, and understanding of customer preferences contribute significantly to the successful marketing of Harmony.”
The target market are Aussies aged 45+, including active retirees who prefer group travel in a tailored guided tour environment.
Young co-founded Harmony Travel Group alongside with Cengiz Deveci of Honest Travel Group, a prominent tour operator with 25 years of experience and operations spanning 60 countries.
Gurol Yildiz is also a director of the tour company.
The new-comer differentiates itself by offering all-inclusive groups travel tours, focusing on delivering unique, personalised, and environmentally-friendly travel experiences while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
“These strategies are pivotal in positioning the company for success and ensuring its continued growth in a competitive market,” Young said.
Young grew up in Sydney, where he embarked on a corporate career after graduation.
His professional trajectory evolved significantly while gaining substantial experience with a major German multinational in Australia, a path that led him overseas to Germany, and he currently holds the Turkish & Australian Trade Business Council Chairmanship in Istanbul.
