TRAVEL Associates is preparing to welcome Nikki Glading to the team in the newly created role of General Manager – Independent Luxury Collection, effective 01 May.
She is tasked with growing the segment by hand-selecting luxury agents, agencies and groups who are focused on curating and selling five-star travel to discerning clients.
The role was created to cater to the growing number of entrepreneurs setting up their own businesses in the luxury market, with the company also stating, “not only do we have clients and employees wanting to join our luxury family, we have also had much interest from the independent world wanting to join us”.
Glading joins from Virtuoso, where she has worked as Account Director, Partner Relations AU & NZ since September last year. Prior to that, she led the sales team at Seabourn for Cruise Line for three years, and also boasts a 20-year history with Flight Centre Travel Group in senior leadership positions.
She will be based in Sydney, and will report to Rachel Kingswell, General Manager of Travel Associates AU & NZ.
