FCTG acquires UK M&E biz

Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has announced the acquisition of Fresh Approach, a UK meeting and events (M&E) agency, writes JANIE MEDBURY.

The company will integrate into FCTG’s FCM M&E operation while retaining its creative identity, with CEO Lee Harris and his leadership team to continue running the business, which has offices in Manchester and Edinburgh.

Additionally, the acquisition will unlock cross-sell potential across FCTG’s 2,200 UK corporate customers, while allowing Fresh clients to access FCM services. Fresh is expected to deliver around £18 million (A$34.08m) in turnover and £1.2 million (A$2.27m) EBITDA during the 2026 financial year.

The acquisition is the latest in a spate of UK purchases for FCTG over the last few years, including cruise agency Iglu, Cruise Club UK, and luxury operator Scott Dunn.
