eRoam has landed in Australia

The new hub promises agents "the gift of time", Janie Medbury writes.

NEW travel agent booking technology hub, eRoam, has launched in Australia today, with the ability to produce itineraries and finalise bookings in minutes.

ERoam, which brings together specialist online suppliers including flights, accommodation, activities, tours, transfers, car hire and cruise, is able to generate proposals by instantly checking costs and availability.

Agents can create client-ready invoices and itineraries with a few clicks, and when the client is ready, eRoam books and confirms all services and segments in just minutes.

With affordable subscription options starting from US$65 (A$101) per month and no lock-in contracts, the new hub is designed to be accessible to travel businesses of any size.

According to the company’s General Manager Paul Hole, eRoam “gives travel gents the gift of time”.

“Instead of losing hours every day to administering quotes and bookings, the efficiencies eRoam delivers gives agents back hours in every day. Time they can use to design more great holidays for more happy paying clients and still have a lunch break with friends, or even knock off on time”.

He emphasised that eRoam is not a “go-between”, with agents able to retain 100% of the commercial terms and recognition with their chosen suppliers as the booking agent.

Additionally, the new eRoam Shop add-on feature offers an online e-commerce solution, allowing agencies to make sales around-the-clock.

“We are very proud of our newest feature, eRoam Shop” said CEO Rob Cecconi. “eRoam Shop is an e-commerce addition that allows any travel agency to have a genuine online e-commerce solution.

“Now you can be open 24/7 and still have a life. We will be saying more about this game changing feature in the coming weeks,” he added.
