CTM wins major UK contract

CORPORATE Travel Management (CTM) revealed it has secured a contract with the British Government worth an estimated Total Transactional Value (TTV) of around $3 billion over two years.

CTM’s successful tender for the UK Home Office’s Bridging Accommodation and Travel Services Contract came into effect 26 Feb, with the company announcing it this week in an ASX release.

The contract contract pertains to record levels of asylum-seekers arriving in the UK via small boats, while at the same time officials are facing unprecedented demand for accommodation from other refugees and migrants under Britain’s Ukraine and Afghanistan relocation schemes.

The business travel management company said the work involves “highly complex services and logistic support that will be delivered by an already established team within CTM that has both the experience and specialised knowledge to support this work”.

CTM will be responsible for sourcing accommodation and transportation services for the project over the next two years, with the possibility of a 12-month extension.
