CRUISE Lines International Association (CLIA) is now offering a River Cruise Showcase as part of its Cruise360 2024 conference, which all travel advisor delegates will have the opportunity to attend.
The River Showcase will take place on 29 August, the day before the Conference, and is designed to for both newcomers to river cruising and seasoned sellers.
The Showcase, which will be hosted ahead of the Conference’s welcome drinks, will provide an essential overview of the river cruise segment, with informative panel discussions examining the world’s key destinations and essential skills for selling river cruises.
It will also include presentations from nine leading river cruise lines, each giving insight into their brand’s unique characteristics and positioning.
Although the river sector makes up only a small portion of CLIA’s membership, its visibility at Cruise360 has grown in the past few years, with Avalon Waterways President Pam Hoffee and Uniworld River Cruises Chief Executive Officer & President Ellen Bettridge speaking at the conference the past two years.
