Coral Expeditions boosts Kimberley ’24 season

CORAL Expeditions has announced the addition of 11 voyages in the Kimberley region on board Coral Geographer between May and August in 2024.

The new dates, which are in addition to the already published schedule for Coral Adventurer and Coral Discoverer, will see the cruise line offer a total of 45 departure dates in 2024 across its three-vessel fleet.

Starting 08 May 2024, the extra sailings will be the 10-night ‘Original Kimberley Cruise’ operating between Darwin and Broome. The journey allows guests to see the best of the Kimberley, including Montgomery Reef and the Horizontal Falls, the escarpments and waterfalls of King George and the Mitchell Rivers, the wildlife sanctuaries of the Lacepedes, and ancient rock art and cultural sites.

“The additional deployment reflects the importance of the Kimberley for us, and for the Australian-flagged expedition cruising sector,” Coral Expeditions Commercial Director Jeff Gillies said.

“New entrants may come and go…but the Kimberley is our home and we have forged our reputation on delivering immersive expeditions with a uniquely Australian style over the past three decades,” he concluded.

The new additional dates for The Kimberley Cruise on board Coral Geographer in 2024 are:

  • Departing Darwin 8 May, 29 May, 19 June, 10 July, 31 July and 21 August 2024
  • Departing Broome 18 May, 8 June, 29 June, 20 July and 10 August 2024
