CONTIKI, owned by The Travel Corporation (TTC) Tour Brand, has announced its first-ever South Korea tour in response to increased demand, with around 43% of Aussies considering a trip to Asia in the next 12 months.
Beginning and ending in Seoul, the nine-day trip will explore the vibrant destination’s culture, cuisine and attractions, with eight departures scheduled for next year.
Highlights of the itinerary include a high-speed rail journey to Busan, a stopover UNESCO World Heritage town Jeonju, a trip to the Awon Hanok Gallery, a visit to the Seongsu shopping distract, and a Korean BBQ dinner, and much more.
Travellers will also have the opportunity to discover Busan by night on board a private yacht, watch a baseball game and star in their very own K-pop music video.
“Contiki bookings to Asia have increased by 264% year on year, so we are excited to be able to respond to this increased demand and make South Korea more accessible to Aussie travellers,” Contiki Managing Director Toni Ambler said.
“The new South Korea tour provides the perfect opportunity to explore a whole part of the world that’s rich in culture, experiences, architecture, and delicious cuisine. It’s a brilliant addition to our extensive list of tour offerings and we are thrilled to add it to our growing list of destinations.”
Standard pricing for the tour is $3,775 per person, with travel agents able to book their customers on the TTC Travel Agent Portal here. The first South Korean Soul trip departs March 2024.
