CATO get serious about cyber security

THE Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has welcomed 4walls Cyber Advisory as its newest Platinum Partner, in a move that strengthens the Council’s commitment to meeting the cyber security needs of its tour operators and wholesale members.

Through the new collaboration, CATO members will benefit from specialised cybersecurity guidance, resources, and tools tailored to address the unique challenges faced by the travel industry, helping them defend against cyber threats and ensure their customers’ data is protected.

CATO Managing Director Brett Jardine said the council is “delighted” to partner with the Australian-based company, adding that “their expertise in cyber security and dedication to safeguarding businesses within the travel industry make them an invaluable asset to our members and the wider Australian travel community”.

Led by Nik Devidas (pictured), 4walls Cyber Advisory’s mission objective is to promote awareness and apply vigorous cybersecurity measures that effectively reduce risks. The 4walls team also recently shared their expert insights on cyber security at CATO’s Crisis, Risk & Resilience conference.

Founder and CEO of the tech company, Devidas said “our mission perfectly aligns with CATO’s dedication to supporting Australian tour operators and wholesalers. We are eager to leverage our expertise in bolstering CATO members’ cyber security infrastructure, safeguarding sensitive data, and fostering trust among their clients”.
