Black Sheep launches TravelWorks in Australia

The accounting and back-office systems leader is now available in the local market.

BLACK Sheep Tourism has launched travel agency accounting and back-office systems leader TravelWorks in Australia.

Founded by travel industry veteran Trish Shepherd, Black Sheep has secured the deal via a partnership with TravelWorks’ parent company, Canada-based travel techo9nlogy solutions company PcVoyages.

With more than 6,000 users worldwide, Travelworks provides the latest cloud-based online mid and back-office accounting, booking, and marketing software for travel agencies and tour operators.

TravelWorks’ current suite of technology modules includes comprehensive accounting, invoicing, reservation management, strategic & operations management, CRM & marketing platforms, groups management, corporate travel management, and real time dashboard and reporting.

Seamlessly interfacing with all major GDS systems and booking engines, Shepherd described TravelWorks as “consultant-friendly”, “affordable”, and “the most comprehensive travel technology available”.

“As we have been helping business owners to streamline operations and drive new revenue, we quickly realised that current technology available in our market just wasn’t providing the detailed CRM systems or functionality needed to effectively capture or deliver meaningful customer or sales data or segmentation.

“Two years ago I went looking for a travel CRM that could take clean customer profile data, searchable travel preferences and create customised segmented databases for inhouse under the radar marketing – what I found was TravelWorks – a robust, scalable and intuitive platform for travel agencies and tour operators.

“We are extremely proud to bring these suites of customised products to our Australian travel agent and tour operator colleagues.”
