Another season of Disney Wonder Down Under

NSW Port schedules show Disney Cruise Line's Disney Wonder is set to head to Australia for a third season in 2025/2026.

ANTICIPATION builds for Disney Cruise Line’s debut Australian season in October of this year, the Port Authority of NSW shows Disney Wonder is set to return to local waters again in 2025.

NSW port schedules confirm Wonder will be in Australian waters on 27 October 2025, with a final call for the 2025/26 season on 02 February 2026. Provisional schedules for other ports being used by Disney this year, including Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, do not at this stage list any 2025/26 calls for the vessel, however these are expected to be added as the itineraries are fleshed out in the coming months.

Disney Wonder’s inaugural Australian and New Zealand season has seen a huge response from the market, with Disney Cruise Line announcing in June of this year that the ship would be returning for a second season in 2024/2025. The confirmation of Wonder’s third season demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to the local market.

Disney Wonder is arriving into our waters in just 59 days time”, shared Disney Travel Business Development Manager, Amy Mortlock at last night’s Disney Days event, before announcing a dedicated trade training app, ‘Magic Ahoy!’

While a launch date is yet to be announced, Mortlock shared some exciting details of the app. “We’re inviting you to come on board and discover why Disney Cruise Line is so magical. Whilst on board, across a 1o day virtual cruise, you’ll discover why Disney Cruise Line is no ordinary cruise. From the visual learning guides, to fun activities, as well as entertainment for the whole family, you’ll also get top tips and insider information to help you sell Disney Cruise Line to your guests. And let’s not forget that there are some incredible limited edition prizes that you can win as part of the training program.”

MEANWHILE last night’s event at Melbourne’s Canvas House kicked of the Disney Days roadshows for 2023, with industry guests getting a chance to experience Disney’s signature wonder and whimsy as they sipped on signature cocktails, snacked on S’mores, and donned delightful Mickey ears.

Disney Parks and Resort Director for Travel & Business Development APAC, Andrea Robinson, opened the event, thanking travel advisors for their ongoing support of Disney. “Thank you so much for the incredible work that you do, you are the people that bring the Disney magic to the customers, so thank you”, Robinson shared.

Disney Travel Business Development Manager, Amy Mortlock also announced a special travel agent offer for a trip on board Disney Wonder on her debut season Down Under. The deal, which will go live in the next few days, is exclusively for the 22 Dec sailing out of Brisbane, allowing agents to experience the magic of Disney Cruise Lines for themselves – more information at www.disneytravelagents.com.au.
