IT’S been a big week for cruise, with Royal Caribbean International (RCI) unveiling its Australian sailings for the 2024/25 season, along with Scenic’s release of its 2023 River Cruising Collection and the launch of Azamara’s new AzAmazin
Bookings will open up for RCI’s new itineraries on 04 May, as two of the cruise line’s ships prepare to return to Australia, with a total of 45 sailings offered on Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas between October 2024 and April 2025.
Guests can choose a number of four- to 14-night itineraries sailing from Brisbane and Sydney to visit iconic destinations across the South Pacific, Queensland, and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours’ new program for 2024 features more than 270 departures including two new river cruises on the Danube. The ‘Danube in Depth’ sailing travels from Nuremberg to Budapest over 10 days, while the eight-day ‘Iconic Danube’ journeys from Passau to Budapest.
In other cruise news, Azamara is celebrating 10 years of its signature AzAmazing Evenings with expanded programming, including AzAmazing Days and Destination Celebrations.
The daytime offering allows guests to discover the hidden gems of each unique port through local musicians, food and wine, and entertainment, while Destination Celebrations showcases the traditions and heritage of the destination via onboard events, including live cultural performances and local cuisine.
