FEW would argue against the idea that the best way to truly understand a destination is to visit personally, and now tour operator Bench Africa is ramping up efforts to allow more local travel advisors to do just that.
This week the company launched AfricaBound, its new famil initiative that will aim to educate and engage with travel agents, showcasing its extensive product range from the adventurous to the luxurious.
“These famils are escorted by our knowledgeable team of experts, allowing us to establish personal connections with our valued industry partners,” Trade Relations Manager at Bench Africa Andy Kirkman said.
“Join us as we showcase our expertise and unparalleled product, reinforcing why Bench Africa should be your first call when it comes to all Africa enquiries.”
Supporting the AfricaBound program will also be a set of comprehensive training resources such as educational webinars, destination-focused workshops, sales support tools, and the opportunity for qualifying agents to participate in an agent famil to experience the product first-hand.
Another key ingredient for Bench’s agent engagement program is the relaunch of its Safari for Change initiative, one it describes as being “a transformative experience that not only offers travel agents the opportunity to immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring landscapes and wildlife of Africa but also provides them with a chance to make a positive impact on local communities and conservation efforts”.
