Royal Caribbean International is back in Sydney to mark the start of the cruise line’s biggest Australian season ever.
Ovation of the Seas late last week arrived in the city, from where she will offer an array of three- to 11-night getaways to destinations around Australia, as well as New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Cruisers will be able to choose from as many as 20 itineraries, with those seeking out the beauty of Australia able to set their sights on Hobart, Adelaide, and Eden.
The season will see a range of experiences on-land, from wine tasting to city tours and hikes.
There are also adventures awaiting along New Zealand’s rugged coastline, including destinations like Milford Sound, Wellington, and the Bay of Islands, as well as other idyllic ports in the South Pacific, such as Noumea, Mystery Island, and Port Vila.
Royal Caribbean is expecting 30% more cruisers this year as opposed to last summer, anticipating the arrival of almost 100,000 travellers.
“Ovation of the Seas’ sixth season in Sydney’s iconic harbour underscores just how much Australians are seeking a holiday that has experiences for everyone in the family and all ages,” Vice President & Managing Director Gavin Smith said.
“It’s exciting to see all of our three award-winning holidays now in Australian waters for what is Royal Caribbean’s biggest and best season yet.”
