AS AN industry that is renowned for its social connection – a fundamental need for us all as humans, the impact of what we have endured over these past two years has been the greatest test for us all. It is well documented that high-quality social connectedness, plays a critical role in our physical and mental health and wellbeing, and the lack of face-to-face and spontaneous interactions, has caused significant impact on our sector and communities.
As we enter the recovery phase of the pandemic, CATO, through the re-establishment of our events program, will combine the reconnection of relationships with learning, to introduce some exciting events. These interactive social initiatives will rekindle the spirit and camaraderie of our industry, by bringing together the industry in a collaborative manner.
The first of many events to come, and a wonderful opportunity for the land supply sector to bring back the fun our industry is known for, is the “CATO Travel Trivia Masters evening”, which will be held on Thursday 4th August 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. This will provide an ideal opportunity for retail agents to reconnect with suppliers, as well as creating an interactive way to refresh the industry’s destination and product knowledge. The event will be themed with attendees encouraged to dress up and support their favourite culture or
country, and prizes will be on offer for the best dressed!
