IN FLIGHT: Luxury in Delta Air Lines’ new Sky Club

Delta’s new Sky Club at LAX is taking airport lounges to another level

As you walk through the doors of the premier Delta Sky Club at LAX, you are greeted by friendly staff and state-of-the-art check-in kiosks, before heading up the escalators to the spacious and stunning new lounge area.

Opening recently in April 2022, this brand new area is the ultimate space to wait for your flight. There is a wide variety of seating options, with a comfy spot perfect for every guest, whether they are looking to relax or work. Seating ranges from lounges to tables, to comfortable bar seats looking out to panoramic views of the airport outside. There are even private phone booths for making calls or working in silence. Importantly, charging points abound, with multiple USB ports and powerpoints at every single seat.

Guests can even sit outside on the Sky Deck, an all-weather terrace that is open year-round. Here visitors can enjoy a drink from the premium bar and delicious food available, as they take in views of Downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills.

One of the main highlights of the lounge is the ability to feel refreshed and ready for a long flight with a shower in one of the spacious shower rooms.

Bookings can be made for these via a virtual queuing system, but with eight showers available the wait will never be too long. The Club’s other restroom amenities have also clearly been designed with comfort and privacy in mind, featuring a nursing room and oversized family restroom.
