SELF-GUIDED holiday specialist, Inntravel, has launched three new rail itineraries for guests looking to travel through Europe at their leisure. Travellers are encouraged to resist the temptation to race through Europe and take a more relaxed pace, so they can truly experience the sights, sounds and flavours of the continent.

Inntravel’s 2020 itineraries include the six-night Provincia Nostra by Rail from London, which takes visitors from the heart of the British capital under the English Channel and through southern France by trail, to discover the Roman Province of Gaul, stopping in Narbonne and Nime before finishing the trip in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aires.

Alternatively, guests can soak up the Flavours of Bilbao, San Sebastian and Bordeaux, travelling through the Basque Country of Northern Spain and South-West France, by train, while indulging in the region’s foodie culture, and the cities’ unique attractions, including Bilbao’s famous Guggenheim Museum, as part of the six-day self-guided tour.

Inntravel’s The Best of Slovenia from the Alps to the Adriatic itinerary gives guests the chance to mix the country’s most popular tourist spots, Lake Bled and the capital, Ljubljana, along with some hidden gems, from the Julian Alps to Piran on the Adriatic Coast, by train.
