VIKING Cruises is offering guests the chance of a decade in 2020 by launching its new 11-day Oberammergau, the Alps cruise and tour experience, a European adventure highlighted by the opportunity to attend The Passion Play, in Germany, celebrated only once every 10 years.
The cruisetour is scheduled to visit six countries and includes calls to Kinderdijk in the Netherlands, Cologne, Koblenz, Rudesheim, Speyer and Breisach in Germany, as well as Strasbourg in France. Eight guided tours are included, such as tasting some of Cologne’s spirited beer culture, or savouring samples of the renowned Alsatian cuisine in Strasbourg France, from regional dessert specialties and meats to wine pairings with local foods.
Prices for the Oberammergau, the Alps & the Rhine itinerary lead in at $5,895 per person, with departures for 01 July, 29 July and 12 August 2020.
