SCENIC has launched a preview of its 2021 European River Cruise program, featuring a feast of food-focused itineraries, with some tasty pre-release offers including return flights for booking suites on cruises of 11 days or more and discounts of up to 50% on solo traveller suite bookings on select departures.

With an increased appetite for food-based tourism, Scenic has developed a menu of culinary cruises to meet the desires of foodies. The 2021 program features a new Taste of Southern France itinerary which includes additional options such as a welcome dinner featuring regionally sourced truffles and on board food tastings.

The program also offers guests the opportunity to visit a cooperage for a barrel-making demonstration and take a cooking class at the restaurant of chef Georges Blanc.

The food-focused Flavours of Bordeaux cruise offers travellers the opportunity to take advantage of additional inclusions such as an oyster and champagne cocktail reception and a seafood dinner featuring fresh produce from Arcachon Bay.

Guest can also arrange to visit a Lillet producer and sample the local aperitif, take a trip to Moon Harbour in Bordeaux and a whisky distillery, and/or an excursion to the Pomerol wine-growing region. Flavours of Bordeaux guests can further enrich their trip with a visit to Chateau d’Agassac, where they can dine.
