KIA ora! New Zealand — you had me from the moment we touched down to the beautiful panoramic mountain vista of Queenstown.

Our itinerary on the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Famil took us through the regions of Queenstown, Fiordland, Southland, Clutha, Dunedin and Canterbury. Everyone knows Queenstown for its adventure activities but the trip on the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak with dinner was a highlight.

Send your customers on the overnight cruise to Doubtful Sound with Real Journeys. It’s like a step back in time, and even better if it’s raining — those waterfalls! Drink the water, you’ll love it.

My hot tip for Invercargill is the Bill Richardson Transport World. With a huge range of vehicles, you’ll love this transport trip back in time. I’m not a mad car fan but this was so interesting. Insider tip — they have themed accommodation right across the road.

The wildlife viewing in Dunedin is spectacular, as are the gardens at Larnach Castle.

Use the informative New Zealand Tourism website, it’s a great tool, and check out their Good Morning World campaign on Instagram for some pretty special moments.

I loved the North Island — can’t wait to go back and explore some more!
