I hadn’t been to Las Vegas in over 15 years, so this was a great opportunity to see all the new properties and how much the city has changed. If I ever go back with my family, I’d love to stay at the Cosmopolitan, which had fabulous balcony rooms, many of them overlooking the wonderful Bellagio fountains.

Taking a fifteen-minute City Lights helicopter tour was fantastic and gave us awesome views of the Strip from above. We didn’t do a lot of shopping, but we did have some time at the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip – it’s a vast, fabulous shopping centre with around 250 shops and 8 department stores including Macy’s and Nordstrom.

I really enjoyed our half-day Hoover Dam tour with Pink Jeep Tours, but I think my favourite souvenir is the group photo taken with the Magic Mike show members at our Meet & Greet after the show! We also got to sample some amazing dining options that I’m looking forward to sharing with my clients, including Smith & Wollensky Steak House at the Venetian Hotel and the fabulous Wicked Spoon buffet at the Cosmopolitan — yum.
