ON The Go Tours has introduced nine new budget overland tours in South America, travelling aboard large purpose-built camping-equipped trucks.

New tours include the 12-day Machu Picchu & Lake Titicaca itinerary, exploring the history and culture of the Incas and Andes ranges, travelling from $1,415 per person, and the 23-day Patagonia Adventure, leading in at $2,905 per person. Guests can also explore the Iguazu Falls in Brazil and the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia.

For those who want to get more involved, On The Go also features immersive experiences, such as cooking classes in a Quechuan Village and white-water rafting in the Sacred Valley and trekking through the Andes. Other destinations on offer include Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador.

Global Head of Industry Sales Dennis Basham is confident the product will resonate strongly with the Australian market, saying Australians have “significantly matured as travellers who seek new and authentic travel experiences, and overland tours can offer just that”.
