JETSTAR Asia and Jetstar Airways have launched a codeshare cooperation with Air France and KLM that aims to offer customers better access to Asian destinations when travelling to and from Europe.

The codeshare opens up the European carriers’ travel network to include a wider range of destinations across Southeast Asia by offering connections onto Jetstar Asia flights in Singapore, including Da Nang, Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Denpasar, Indonesia; Medan, Indonesia; Surabaya, Indonesia; Phuket, Thailand; and Darwin, Australia.

Travellers will benefit from an expanded network as well as a seamless travel experience with single ticket itineraries and checked-through baggage. Meals and refreshments are also included for Air France and KLM customers booked on a single itinerary when travelling on a Jetstar Airways or Jetstar Asia flight.

Jetstar Asia CEO Bara Pasupathi said he was pleased to extend Qantas’ already well-established partnership and welcome Air France and KLM to the Jetstar family. “It is always great to find new opportunities to be able to offer our incredible network to more customers who are looking to explore Southeast Asia and Australia,” he said.
