EURAIL has teamed up with Sydney-based travel and hospitality specialist agency Example, who will manage Eurail’s trade relationships, marketing and public relations activity in the Australian market.

“Australia is a very important market for Eurail, and we are thrilled to be increasing our focus on supporting the Australian travel trade to increase sales of Eurail Passes through the appointment of Example as our on-the-ground representative”, said Eurail market manager Clarissa Mattos.

This is the first time the travel brand has sought Australian representation and is a “direct result of Australia recently becoming Eurail’s second largest source market” the company said.

Example will work with Eurail to increase brand awareness and product knowledge with travel agents, while also working with the broader travel industry to increase consumer interest surrounding European travel.

Example’s head of marketing Andrew Cavallaro said the company will work closely with general sales agents along with “travel agents to showcase the benefits of travelling Europe on a Eurail Pass”.
