Known in particular for its Central Otago Pinot Noir, Queenstown and its surrounding regions are home to more than 200 vineyards producing a wide range of wine varieties. The Queenstown Wine Trail follows the Gibbston River Trail, the same river route as early Maori travellers. This walking tour includes wine and cheese tastings and a picnic along the way.
